Clapping Hands Emoji
What does the Clapping Hands emoji mean?
Two hands clapping, when repeated a few times, it becomes a round of applause, a simple way to show appreciation.
This emoji shows two yellow hands with their palms pressed together, mimicking applause.
You can send it to congratulate someone—say, for passing exams. It’s also used to acknowledge a friend’s success or to show admiration for their talent. The emoji often stands in for the word "bravo." It can be used sarcastically, too—for example, when someone posts a photo of a broken smartphone, vase, or plate.
