The flag was approved by the General Fono in February 2009 and by Queen Elizabeth II in August of the same year. Technically a flag sequence: the picture comes from 🇹 Regional Indicator Symbol Letter T and 🇰 Regional Indicator Symbol Letter K standing side by side, which a phone draws as one flag.

Tokelau is a small New Zealand territory made up of three coral atolls scattered across the South Pacific Ocean.
The blue flag shows a yellow Polynesian canoe set against a sky-blue field, accompanied by four stars.
