Flying Saucer Emoji
What does the Flying Saucer emoji mean?
A “flying saucer”, often called an unidentified flying object (UFO): usually refers to the classic disc-shaped craft associated with extraterrestrial life. Colloquially, the term has also sometimes been used to refer to undocumented (or “illegal”) immigrants.
The smiling face peeks out from an alien flying saucer — a handy emoji to flag an unidentified object in the sky, i.e. a UFO. It appears as a metallic spacecraft shaped like a classic saucer with a clear, domed window in the center where an alien can be seen.
This popular emoji is versatile: its exact meaning depends on the context. Use it when summarizing the plot of an alien movie, joking that someone is obsessed with UFOs, or simply to add a quirky, otherworldly touch to your message.
