Star-Struck Emoji
What does the Star-Struck emoji mean?
A round yellow face with a wide, toothy grin and bright red stars for eyes. A good fit for reacting to someone you admire—or a celebrity—this emoji expresses excitement, admiration, and starstruck awe.
A beaming smile with starry eyes — this emoji shares the same open grin, showing the top row of teeth and a tongue, as the lovesick face. The only real difference is the eye design: here, two five-pointed stars replace the usual eyes. Their color can vary by messenger, with gold and red being the most common.
Emojis with stars for eyes are mainly used to express admiration or pure delight at something seen. You’ll often spot them in comments about beloved films — stars naturally evoke cinema. A related emoji is the face with heart-shaped eyes.
