Mozambique's national flag features a rectangular field with three horizontal bands — green, black and yellow — separated by thin white stripes. At the hoist is a red triangle 🔺 whose point faces to the right. Set against the triangle is a yellow star depicting an open book, above a crossed machine gun and hoe.
