Pensive Face Emoji
What does the Pensive Face emoji mean?
A face in plain yellow with eyes tightly closed, furrowed brows and a downturned mouth: most usually used to express sadness, disappointment, loneliness, or feeling offended.
This emoji looks pensive—almost as if the smiley regrets something. It’s close in appearance to the bored emoji, with lowered eyebrows and downcast eyes. The short, straight mouth gives it a quietly neutral expression.
Use this thoughtful face to show empathy or to let the person you’re chatting with know you’re feeling sad.
