Crying Face Emoji
What does the Crying Face emoji mean?
A yellow crying face with raised eyebrows, a slight frown, and a single blue tear rolling down its cheek. Widely used to express sadness, disappointment, or emotional pain.
At first glance, this crying face can be mistaken for the "got it" face. Both share the same mouth, eyes, and sorrowful, downturned eyebrows. The clue is the tear: here a tear streams from the right eye, clearly showing the emoji is crying. There’s also a smaller tear closer to the cheek that looks more like a drop of sweat.
This emoji is typically used to express pain and sadness or longing and despondency—moments when you feel like crying.
