Tongue Emoji
👅
What does the Tongue emoji mean?
1
A tongue-out image — can suggest licking or tasting, but more often serves as a cheeky, childlike gesture of defiance or playful resistance.
2
A red tongue sticking out of a mouth — similar in meaning to a yellow face showing its tongue.
This emoji can also be used in more serious contexts, for example to indicate health or well‑being. 👅 Often it signals vitality or a healthy appetite. But this icon carries more meanings, depending on the context. It’s commonly used instead of words like licked, tasted, or "stuck out their tongue."
