Frowning Face with Open Mouth Emoji
What does the Frowning Face with Open Mouth emoji mean?
A yellow frowning face with a gaping mouth (no teeth visible) and wide-open eyes. Despite its name, it reads more as surprise than anger and is mostly used to express shock, amazement, or awe.
This emoji shows a smiling face with an open mouth and small eyes. Because it has no eyebrows, its expression can come across as a little downcast. It’s very close in meaning to the face expressing surprise.
Use this emoji to convey your feelings of delight, disappointment, anxiety, or even sadness.
