Palms Up Together Emoji
What does the Palms Up Together emoji mean?
A simple, cartoon-style illustration of two hands cupped together with palms facing up. It can suggest someone asking or pleading for help or money, but it also works well to express openness, receptivity, or a welcoming attitude.
Bright yellow palms pressed together, resembling human palms on the sides. The main difference is that the hands meet at the little fingers, and all the fingers — thumbs included — are held tightly together.
This emoji is known as the "Boat Palms". Its meaning is flexible, so you’ll see it used in many ways. Most commonly it suggests someone is reading — in sign language this hand shape represents the word book. It can also be used to show outstretched hands while waiting for a gift.
