Hand with Fingers Splayed: Medium-Dark Skin Tone Emoji
What does the Hand with Fingers Splayed: Medium-Dark Skin Tone emoji mean?
An open palm in a medium-dark skin tone with all five fingers spread wide — a clear, static symbol for the number five. It resembles the waving-hand emoji, but the absence of motion lines shows that this hand isn’t moving.
This emoji shows a raised hand with fingers spread — like a high five or a friendly greeting. This version uses a dark skin tone and is intended for people whose skin color is darker than the default open hand with a light skin tone.
It can be used to get someone's attention, but more commonly it replaces words like "hello", "goodbye", or "five".
