Face with Tears of Joy Emoji
What does the Face with Tears of Joy emoji mean?
The standard yellow face with raised eyebrows, a wide grin and cheerful eyes streaming tears from laughter, the emoji you use when something’s so funny it makes you cry. Usually used to react to hilariously funny moments.
A round yellow face shedding tears of joy with a big, beaming smile. Its eyes are squeezed shut in laughter, eyebrows raised, two blue tears streaming down, and the mouth shows the upper row of teeth. This cheerful emoji is extremely popular in messengers and social networks — people use it to convey a buoyant, happy mood or to react to something genuinely funny.
Interesting fact: this smiley is one of the most frequently used across a wide range of platforms. It looks a lot like the other laughing face with eyes closed, but with the added tears of joy. In meaning it’s also very close to the rolling on the floor laughing emoji.
