Emojis are the best way of expressing your feelings and emotions when texting. They are very effective in getting your point across. Plain text is not only boring; it can also be challenging to convey your exact mood with just the use of text. Use emojis if you want your message to reach the intended recipient without being misunderstood or misinterpreted.
Emojis are meant to make correspondence closer to real-life or face-to-face communication, which uses intonation and word combinations to express all kinds of feelings, whether annoyance, sarcasm, offense, sadness or admiration, sympathy, or joy.
Emoji are credited to Scott Fahlman, a computer scientist at Carnegie Mellon. In 1982, he suggested that colleagues use emotions in communication. And it caught on! The first emoji was created in 1999 when a mobile phone company NTT DOCOMO released a set of 176 emojis for mobile phones and pagers. Since then, emojis have grown exponentially in number and the number of people who use them.
Unicode ensures that emojis are displayed correctly on different devices. Thanks to Unicode, the owners of iPhone, Android, Windows, and other platforms can see the same or maximally similar emoji when communicating.
Copy and paste thousands of emojis to express your feelings and emotions with detailed descriptions of the situations for which they are appropriate. We wish you the most pleasant communication!
